Welcome To The

Bigfork

Equestrian Center

The Bunyea family, Steve, Lori, BreeAnn, Austin, Biscuit, & Lucky welcome you to their world class facility for horses. Located in beautiful Bigfork, Montana, the Bigfork Equestrian Center is a fully equipped, state of the art, facility. Owned and operated by people who truly care about horses and their owners.

The Bigfork Equestrian Center is associated with Buck Brannaman the world famous horse gentler who was the inspiration for the movie The Horse Whisperer.

The picture on the right was taken during the Buck Brannaman clinic in August of 2005. The Bigfork Equestrian Center utilizes the techniques and methods taught by Buck in his clinics. Handling horses using these methods means that all the horses in the care of the Center are treated gently, with dignity and thoughfulness.
Horse owners who are looking for a place to keep their beloved animal, can rest assured that everyone at the Bigfork Equestrian Center will provide the loving care and attention their horse deserves. The Center is happy to accommodate any special needs or requirements in addition to providing clean, comfortable surroundings.

Individual stalls are clean, light and airy with an opening window and outdoor turnout.

Every horse has easy access to the outdoors and to both the outdoor and indoor riding arenas. The facility is designed for the ease of use and convenience of both the horse and the horseman.

There are 23 large comfortable stalls on the property as well as a state of the art washroom, a farrier area, tack room, round pen for training and large arenas for riding and workouts. In addition there is a foaling stall especially designed for making the birthing process comfortable.

Veterinarian services are on call and very close by in case your horse becomes ill or needs special attention or just a routine vacination.

The Center caters to the needs of the horses and features only high quality hay and LMF feeds.

The large washroom features a heated floor so that even in the most inclement weather your horse can be bathed in comfort. As you can see from the pictures, the facility is clean, bright and comfortable.
